If I could chose my celebrity companion, it would be Jimmy Smits--I would love to accopany him to either Spain or Puerto Rico.

When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?

It was last September when I was down in Southern Maine tending my Granddaughter Eliza. My dear DIL gave her an Oreo cookie and by the time she was done she looked like Al Jolson when he was doing his routine with his face all darkened--trying not to offend anyone here. My son was highly incensed--in fact he was the one that said "She looks like Al Jolson for God's sake."I thought I was going to have an accident I laughed so hard. A bath took care of everything--for heaven's sake.

What is the worst city you've ever been to and why?

The worst city I have ever been in is Kansas City, Kansas. I was flying East--my plane was late, I had very rude service at the Airport, just managed to make my plane and my seat had been taken--no help, unclassy service--I won't go there again.

What's the best book you read this year?

The best book I have read this year is A Southern Family by Gail Godwin--a true blue Southern novel--sad but good alll the same
